Special sanding heads
One of the most important factors for getting the perfect result with Flex Trim sanding systems is to apply a constant sanding pressure. For flat sanding surfaces this is easy. A problem arises however when sanding multi-level (stepped) surfaces. To enable an even pressure to be applied to these surfaces, a Flex Trim sanding head can be assembled using different diameter sanding cores.
Disc Sander
One special head developed by Flex Trim is the Disc sander, with which we have had a huge success installing on tenon and CNC machines etc. The head is excellent for sanding on edges, as it will sand simultaneously the flat side as well as the top and bottom of the edge.
